As Las Iguanas experienced a period of rapid growth, opening new venues across the UK, they recognised the need to continually improve the dining experience for both customers and staff. As their ‘Hero dish’, fajitas and their presentation play a significant role in creating this experience.
Tasked with supporting this growth by identifying opportunities to re-design the ‘Fajita Experience’. Understanding the varied requirements was crucial, the final presentation and eating of the food is one small part of the life of a piece of tableware.

Visits to the restaurants, spending time alongside staff and experiencing the food itself, identified opportunities for product and service interventions that both reduce the burden on staff whilst enhancing the experience for diners. 
Detailing and taking the design to manufacture ensured that the vision that Las Iguanas wanted was realised in the final product, with colours, materials and finish all inspired by their existing brand.
